I write principally to tell you that I have nothing particular to tell but I shall write again on Friday – after getting to Magdeburg I found I should be too late so I returned to Halle & got home thro’ Cassel (which ist the best way .. ) on Saturday night. Mr Klingemann likes the translation with a few exceptions which I think you will find improvements.
Make my kind remembrances and thanks to Made Mendelssohn for the great politeness she shewed me during my stay in Leipzig Yours faithfully
