I must trouble you with a few lines, to thank you for the beautiful Lied ohne Worte you were good enough to send me by our friend Mr David, and I only wish I had been able to send you something, which would have pleased you as much in return. I hope however you will accept the and that you will find it useful in keeping your place when you read. Papa says he is sure your little boy will not like the puzzle, but if he is fond of pie it may amuse him, and being the corronation of Queen Victoria, something so thoroughly english, I could not help choosing it for him. We cannot thank you too much for having been the means of introducing us to so delightful a person as Mr David. It is a real pleasure to look forward to his coming again to England next year, and if you would fulfil your promise of bringing over your wife in the spring, we might be a very happy party together.
