März 1839 einen umjubelten Auftritt im achten Konzert der Philharmonic Society in London und kehrte Anfang Juli nach Leipzig zurück. to write a few lines to thank you for the beautiful hymn you wrote for me. I can assure you it will highly prized by me as a remembrance of you (not that I require anything to refresh my memory). I do not wish it |3| touched to remain as he gave it to me. Will you kindly arrange this for me? I do not wish to say anything that might give offence to leave it to you to give the hints as you think best. I am much pleased with what I have seen of Mr DavidDavid, Ernst Victor Carl Ferdinand (1810-1873) but it has been little you know the numerous engagements of the months of May and June in LondonLondonGroßbritannien. I have heard him play several times and have been enchanted with it. So much purity of taste and fine feeling, combined with execution (The bane of Music now I think.) I wonder if it is like I think it much be too old for her. It is a Pretty Face but one 26 ore more years of age.26 ore more years of age – Cécile Mendelssohn Bartholdy war zum Zeitpunkt der Entstehung der Skizze 20 Jahre alt.

My Sister MaryCrompton, Mary (1806-1867) has been with us for Three Months a great delight to see her again! She has her 2 eldest children with her.
