I am glad to find that you have been busy – and altho’ I have not yet had the MS from Mr Watts, I have great pleasure in becoming the purchaser of the english copyright of your prayer for Chorus and Orch. at the price you name five guinees, which I will try and get my matter to pay into Messs Mendelssohns Bank in Berlin as she comes thro’ – I shall feel obliged if you will tear off the annexed sheet for Messs Br. & Härtel fixing the 25th May for the day of publication –
I shall be very happy to publish your new Paulus as soon as it is ready - I wish that you who are so good an english scholar would write it to English words at once. –
 Now that my sister Clara is coming to England I should have very much liked the song which you promised to write for her, but I suppose you indeed it to be very good, by taking so much time to think about it
I shall always be pleased to hear from you when you have any thing new –
