            Frankfort October 10th 1838 My dear Sir,
Thank God we have been arrived as far quite safe. and well. I have only one moment to say we leave this, in an hours time in a private Carriage. for your dear Town. when we are told we shall arrive on Sunday evening. when we hope to see you quite recoverd from your illness. I need not say I hope to remain but a short time in the Hotel. as Lodging are sheaper. You will be glad to learn that my Wife has brought a splendid collection of Music with Parts. and I some sketches, which I know you will like to see. With our united best compliments and thanks
