I have determined to come and see you at Cologne altho’ I fear it will be only for 3 days. and intend leaving London about 10 days hence. will you be so kind as to put your service in your pocket for me
I should feel very much obliged if you would survey Breitkopff & Haertell with your Psalm as I wish to get it performed at the Gloucester musical Festival and it will take us some time to translate print and get it into practise. pray therefore tell them to send me a copy MS or other – Please also to tell me who are the Foreign Publishers of the Concerto Op 40 that I may put it on the work as you do not forget that it is to be published on the 29th May – we must enter it on that day and sell one copy but I will not print more before I have shown it to you a Cologne pray therefore send me two lines on that subject –
