            I have been delayed here much longer than I at first anticipated, but it is my intention to be at Leipsig on Wednesday Evening, and to stay for the concert on Thuesday – I venture to ask Mr Mendelsohn, whether he will be able to fulfill his kind intention of giving the Overture to the Midsummer nigthts dream on that Evening
 Because if his arrangements will not allow him to give me this great pleasure, I believe I shale proceed at once to Weimar –
I shall be lodged in Leipsig at the Hotel de Pologne I need hardly assure Mr Mendelsohn that if a disappointment awails me it will require all my philosophy to hear it and that I am, with every sentiment of the sincerest admiration and respect, his friend most truly
