            Norwood Surrey July 14th 1829 – My Dear Sir,
I intend being at my friend’s House (Mr Laforest) No 8 Bedford Row four doors from the Taylor’s at 12 oC’ on Saturday Mor. where I hope to have the pleasure of meeting you, or if you prefer paying a visit to the Taylors’, I will call on you there. I lost sight of you after the delightful concert on Monday, & in consequence was prevented having the opportunity of requesting you to do me a favor, however I trust the delay will not cause me to be disappointed in any request; & shall therefore proceed, in the hope that you will induce your friend, whom you introduced me to on Sunday, to accompany you on Saturday, as I can assure you it will give me great pleasure to see him at Norwood. I shall lay the blame upon you if he does not come, & shall not give you credit for any exertions if I have not the gratification of seeing him with you on that day. I would address him myself, but have not his Name, or his residence, must therefore rely upon your friendly offices –
