A cousin of mine goes to-morrow to England and I take that opportunity of acquainting you that Mess Breitkopf & Härtel are very busy with my Lobgesang and that I shall soon be able to send you the pianoforte arrangement of it . I shall also send an English translation of the three new movements, which Mr. Monicke will make, but before publication it must be shown to my friend Klingemann and you must both read and sing it over in order to know whether an alteration here and there might be desirable, Mr Monicke not being a better musician than I myself an English scholar. My best regards to your father and Mr. Clarke, and excuse the haste of these lines. Very truly
