As I leave town to morrow morning I regret very much that I will not be able to express myself to you my best and sincerest thanks for the kindness you have had for me. Your beautyful compositions gave me the greatest delight every time I play’d them, and I am indebted to you for one of the most agreeable evenings I passed in this country. For both those things accept my sincere thanks.
Allow me to offer you the manuscript score of the piece of mine, I play’d once to you & to Sir George; though I know that its musical value is but very little I take the liberty of offering it to you, . ..
